the best right now

Starting in August 2015, I've had a fundamental role in the creation and development of "The Best Right Now" series of roundups. I wrote the initial batch of roundups, helped develop the design and style of the product, and created a strategy and workflow for future roundups. I've since developed a standard operating procedure for other writers to create additional roundups in the TBRN series and continue to contribute to the series myself.

Popular Mechanics

My spring semester at Syracuse University was spent commuting to New York City to work as an Editorial Intern at Popular Mechanics. While I performed a number of duties behind the scenes, I also had a chance to interview Andrew Sheppard, president of Kabam Studios.

Syracuse New Times

My first editorial internship while studying at Syracuse University was for the weekly alternative paper, Syracuse New Times. While there I wrote a large cover story ("Dig the New Digs") as well as a preview of "The Art of Video Games" exhibit at the Everson Museum.
